Planning Your Day
Before The Wedding Day
You will want to meet up before the wedding to discuss your day. As a rule we meet three times; firstly on appointment and secondly on site to recce the venues and thirdly for the pre-wedding shoot.
The first time we discuss the style of photography you love, the planned structure of your day and the details that you are considering for your day.
The second time we meet at the locations you are using and review the timescales and plan in more detail. We discuss logistics and agree the phases of the photography throughout the day.
The Third Time we meet at or in the vicinity of our studio to do the pre-wedding shoot. This shoot provides you with ‘non-wedding images of the two of you together. These can be used to great advantage either as straight ‘engagement’ images, as presents for mothers on the day, (in lovely silver frames) and/or as a print with a wide mount surround, that your friends can sign.
The Weddding Day
We place no limit to the amount of time spent shooting your wedding. Between the two of us, we will start as you each begin to get ready and work our way through until the first dance. We do not take images of people eating – undignified!
We always expect to take formal images of groups. However, we have a formula for getting through this as fast as possible and will make sure that it does not become a burden on your day. It usually last about 20 minutes at the most.
We will always find time to do a short private shoot with the bride and groom that caputres the two of you together on your wedding day. It gives you some very personal photographs - often the only ones you put on your wall.
Post Wedding
One of the most exciting parts of your honeymoon is knowing that you are coming back to your pictures. It is best to ‘pre-arrange’ the date so we know when to expect you.
You come to us, drink champagne, watch an animation of your images and then go onto select your own shortlist from about 350 images for your album.
Our albums are the best that you can buy so you can easily have a perfect storybook.
We do post your images on line through our website where friends and relatives can buy them and we do have other brilliant products like mini albums, calendars, DVD’s etc.
