The Wild Highlander brings the ancient art of Portraiture back to life. We create images that capture you as you would like to be remembered for generations to come.

We discuss your ideas with you and agree a style you like. We make a plan for the day that includes props, clothing, cherished items, lighting and any other elements that make the shoot special for you. We can take your picture in our Studio, in your Home or in someone else’s location – the choice is yours.

Services

The Camera can be nerve-wracking , even brutal in the minds of some folk. We understand; if you do not feel confident about having your picture taken or even just love to be pampered, we can arrange a make-up artist and/or a hairdresser to give you a boost. Clearly, there is a price for this service but you pay for the service direct to the artist and not us.

Alternatively, just have a glass of Champagne, sit back and relax.

The Price of Fame

We have so much faith in our Portraits that we offer you, not only the standard portrait session (45 minutes) but we also include your favourite image printed  5” by 7”  and display mounted – all for FREE.

When you come back to review your images, at a time agreed at the end of our shoot with you, we agree which image you would like for your FREE picture. There is no catch. Buy nothing and we will still give you the picture for FREE.

What can I buy?

When we first talk with you, we will discuss the way you are considering displaying the portrait pictures. The Wild Highlander creates portraits that hang in the hall and will still make your great-grandchildren proud in a hundred years time: on fine art paper, etched and framed, exactly as the great portrait art of the past.

That is not suitable for every image and we also provide you with ways to display your portraits on desks, on any wall space wall, online and how best to give copies to relatives and friends. Ask to see samples of our stunning frames and mounts, professionally made and assembled with your image or mix of images.

You can preserve images in coffee table books, in picture boxes and on stationary and calendars, mugs and tshirts. You can create books for your new grand-children, telling them about you and their heritage. We can scan family images and documents and build them into a beautifully designed book that establishes and preserves a potted family history, before it is forgotten for ever.
