The Wild Highlander is a Social and Commercial Photographic studio, based in Hurtmore in Surrey. We specialise in five areas of photography:

Social Photography:

Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Christenings, Bar Mitzvahs and other Special Occasions for families and friends. With a sublime blend of formal and reportage, planned and spontaneous, we excel in telling the perfect story of your day. When it comes to private functions, confidentaility is why we are still working for key clients.

Portrait Photography:

From babies to grandparents and everything in between. We can do modern and funky. We also pay homage to the traditional portraits of the past creating images that will last your family for 50 generations.

Commercial Photography:

We create private stock libraries for our corporate clients; we deliver timely and relevant public relations images, processed and ready for their ultimate use; we enjoy our editorial work which can take us across the broad range of our talents. We produce fashion shoots for hair, clothing, accessories and catalogue clients; we shoot spotlight and portfolio images for musicians, actors and dance studios and we are always busy with our product shots from jewellery to cakes and vases to canapes.

Event Photography:

We have twenty years experience in photgraphing events. We specialise in corporate business to business conferences and incentives. We do not just take the images, we edit them, host them and deliver them to you either on a DVD, or via our website or in one of our sumptious printed books that create a real moment to remember for you and your clients. Of such memories are great relationships made.

Schools Photography:

Over the last four years we have perfected our schools offering. It is only available to the few as it requires a significant commitment on our behalf. We work directly with schools on their prospectus imaging. We cover schools for their yearbooks and drama productions and we now offer school photography as a subtle but significant improvement on the standard offering.

Meet the Team

We have a core team who are, naturally, dedicated to you and your images. But this is not all of us. Like many small companies we are only as good as the companies we work with, the people who supply us with services and products. We are ruthlessly determined that only the best are made available to you.

As far as our people are concerned, we work with those artists who deliver to our high standards and do not bring their ego’s to work. We will always make them available to you where ever possible. However, this will sometimes depend on availability and sometimes just which talent is most suitable for the type of shoot you are commissioning.
